Dillon

Dillon sits at the center of Summit County on the northeast shore of Dillon Reservoir, a small town best known for its marina, its lakeside amphitheater, and easy access off Interstate 70. Within the town limits the housing is mostly condos and townhomes close to the water, the shops, and the events.

The single-family side of the market is largely east of town, in the unincorporated Summit Cove area along the sunny eastern shore. Summit Cove runs a wide range, from condos and modest homes to the larger custom homes of the Soda Creek enclave, with competitive pricing and a local, year-round feel. Because much of this area is unincorporated rather than inside the Town of Dillon, jurisdiction shapes both transfer tax and short-term-rental rules, and is worth confirming at the parcel level.
